Green Dot

We did the Charlie Brown Zig Zag with this Green Dot for our friend Chrissy who is having twins - one boy and one girl. They were so fun to do together. Coordinating, yet different. Congrats Chrissy, and good luck!

Charlie Brown Zig Zag

I proposed marriage to this fabric when we met at the store. This is the first car seat blanket I made with it. Now I'd like to make a thousand other things with it. Sigh.
Yes, that's some awesome yellow polka dots on the handles.

Amelia

My friend Melanie had her baby Amelia just weeks before Edward. I'm just now getting around to getting her a baby gift. Classy, huh? I loved doing this one for her. The red minky was so different and fun to put with brown.

Toile for Katy

The minky on this car seat blanket is even thicker and more slippery than regular minky, but the end result is so satisfying that I don't mind. I hope this is girly enough...
(Only close-ups for this one because I didn't notice how messy the room behind the car seat was until I brought the picture up on the computer. Sorry.)

Tammy's

I told Tammy I could finish this polka dot with brown minky for her before the year was over. Of course I ended up finishing it on the last day of the year. Bah! I think it turned out nice, though. I liked having that really deep brown minky fabric to work with.

Jared's baby girl

Dan's friend at work, Jared, is expecting his first baby - a girl. That's the good news. The bad news? His wife is only 25 weeks along and she's already in the hospital due to her amniotic fluid levels being low. She's miserable, and she's been there for three weeks. I hope this blanket will cheer her up and help her get excited for the arrival of their new bundle of wonder!
